Alexa, known for her vegan twist on Mexican food, wanted her website to do justice to her culinary skills.
Despite a strong following on Instagram, her DIY website didn’t live up to her social media’s vibrancy, making her hesitant to share it. Overwhelmed by the need to constantly engage online, she longed for a central place for her recipes and a true reflection of her style.

Alexa’s journey started with her managing her brand and website on her own. However, as her social media evolved, her brand design and website remained a step behind, not capturing the essence of her content as she wished.
Alexa aimed to transform her basic website into a space as rich and engaging as her Instagram. She envisioned a brand and website that matched her work's quality, creating an immersive experience that extended her social media storytelling.
The Goal:
A Seamless Fusion of Aesthetics and Functionality
With her American roots and deep Mexican heritage, Alexa's cooking style is a tapestry of influences. Our challenge was to weave these diverse threads into a brand that stayed true to her unique identity.
Designing with Cultural Sensitivity and Style
We chose earth tones for the color palette, a subtle nod to her Mexican heritage.The logo became a harmonious blend of chunky, contemporary type and earthy, organic fonts - a symbol of her bicultural identity.The brand was enriched with details that celebrated both her American and Mexican backgrounds.
Mixing Cultural Heritage with Modern Flavors
Alexa’s new website mirrors her life in California, mixing modern style with her cultural background. It’s now a welcoming space for her followers to easily access her recipes, reflecting her personal style and letting her unique voice shine.
