january is kicking my butt, and I couldn't be more done with winter!

It’s the fourth week of the year, and I’ve already been humbled to my knees.

I planned so much and so pretty! I had Notion spaces and spreadsheets, mapping out everything coming out this year, when and how. My first trimester was split into weeks, so I knew what I needed to do and when.

I was feeling pretty proud, to be honest, and the schedule was sticking, which is unusual for me! And then life laughed at me and was like:

“Really? We’ve been through this so many times! When are you gonna learn?”, and followed with getting everyone sick, one by one, while January passed by me and waved, inside its high-speed train.

I’m done with winter, done with cold, done with rain, done with the freakin wind!

When did we lose getting the New Year in the summer, to the southern hemisphere? When did they call dibs on it? Imagine what it would be like to begin the year chilling at the beach. Just making plans for the future, 'cause no one expects anything to get done in the summer.

Now, as we hope the sick season is far behind us, even though it seems that the worst winter days are yet to come, I’ll go back to my delusional organization board and pretend I have it all under control.

I'm unfortunately very sure I'm not the only one being hit in the face with the high expectations we set for such a miserable month.

So I'm wishing you an amazing week, despite the sad letter ❤︎
