HYSSOP FLORAL
Timeless Website Design for a Floral Studio
Creating a digital presence as elegant and expressive as their floral craft.
The project
Hyssop Floral is a seasonally driven, fine-art floral design studio founded by Hayley and Zach in Michigan. They design floral experiences that feel intentional, rooted in nature, and deeply connected to the stories they help celebrate. Their work is poetic, grounded, and rich with the quiet beauty of blooms and composition.
Although the brand had recently refreshed its identity, the existing website didn’t reflect the quality, depth, or elegance of its floral artistry. It wasn’t giving their work the space or sophistication it deserved — and that gap meant their ideal clients weren’t always seeing them the way they needed to be seen.
They wanted a digital home that felt like a true extension of their craft — timeless, thoughtful, and expressive — so that the beauty in their work could speak for itself.
Since we’ve worked together, Hayley and Zach have moved platforms, and their website has a different look now. Still, they beautifully managed to keep the essence we built together.
Our approach
For Hyssop, we focused on quiet elegance and visual restraint, amplifying what already made their work so compelling — without overshadowing it.
The truths we chose to bring forward:
꩜ Bring their floral artistry on screen with openness and space — a layout that feels familiar, calm, and beautiful, letting the photography breathe;
꩜ Typography that feels like poetry and timelessness — classic, grounded letterforms that evoke story and presence without excess;
꩜ A refined color palette — subtle, natural tones that support the imagery and echo the textures of petals, stems, and soil;
꩜ Structure that feels intentional — navigation and content that guide visitors gently through their story, portfolio, and services without distraction;
꩜ A site that aligns pricing with craft — projecting confidence and quality so they can attract clients who value their vision and invest accordingly;
The result is a website that feels like a gallery for flowers, a digital space that honors every stem, shadow, and composition — and invites clients who share their aesthetic and values.
“We thought about the process in a way that we never had before."
Nurturing words from HAYLEY & ZACH
“Ana's guidance was extremely detail-oriented and helpful beyond any assistance we'd ever had before. She helped us delve deep into our brand by spending a lot of time discussing our ethos, what we do, and who our audience is.
We also value that Ana pushed us to share more about who we are as artists. We are so private and don't love putting ourselves up on a pedestal in any way, shape, or form... but sharing more about who we are really was an important part of this project, and Ana helped us share more without feeling too in our heads about it.
Her patience with us and her understanding of our vision and process were outstanding.
We have noticed more clients booking with us who share our same values and aesthetic preferences, and clients who have greater flower budgets, and the budgets actually align with their floral needs.
We are grateful for the ways that our website now reflects the work that we've done in a beautiful and timeless way.”

Olá, I’m Ana Luísa
I’ve learned that showing up for the messy, uncomfortable parts of work and life is where the interesting stuff lives — the part that actually matters.
I care about doing things our way, even when it goes against the rules, the blueprints, or what everyone else thinks makes sense. And honestly? It’s hard. I doubt myself all the time.
But that’s also why I care so much — because I know how real and raw it is to try anyway.
And that’s the place I want to create with you — honest, a little raw, and completely human.
“Ana was the first graphic designer I had worked with that had a strategy for my brand, asked some amazing questions, and really made me feel heard.”
— Cecilia Proskauer
“Ana can read us in deeper layers and guide us when we’re still navigating the unknown.”
— Filipa Patrício
